I wrote up my snapshot for MobileBurn on the new Sony Ericsson W900, and while I wasn’t really impressed when I started, after I finished getting through the snapshot I am now at least a little interested. It still seems a little large though, but I thought the same thing about the S700 when I first laid eyes on it.
The W900 is set to come out with the W550 and W600 in the US, beginning Sony Ericsson’s goal of having a wider range of price points in its product range.
One thing that confused me though, was why 470Mb or user accessible memory? I am guessing that the W900 has a 512Mb chip in it, and even with the slack created by the file system, there should still be more memory free than that. Shorely the system software can’t be that big?

Good job.
